Pioneer launches its latest dual format DVD writer the DVR-215. This new model supports scintillating 20x write speeds on both DVD-R/+R media, and 10x burning on Dual/Double Layer media. Pioneer drives remain the leaders in speed and versatility, with the facility to write 4.7GB of data to write-once media or store up to 8.5GB on Double Layer media.

Now included: Nero Suite 1 software.

• To perform DVD writing at 12x or 20x speeds, use Pioneer-designated disc media.

RPC setting
The DVR-215 includes Regional Playback Control (RPC Phase II Mode). Region changes can be made up to five(5) times including the initial setting. Be aware that the fifth(5th) change will be PERMANENT. Therefore, please use caution when changing the region code on the DVR-215 The method of changing the region code number may vary on the decoder or operating system used.
