I've been an AMD man for 3 years!!! I owned an AMD 3700+, x2 3800+, x2 4800+, and x2 5600 brisbane, and none really gave me that WOW, factor like this processor has. It was really hard for me to switch, but I was so fed up with AMD's supbar performance/low cache cpu's , that I had to make the huge move, and it was all for the best!!!

Very powerful processor it can power through any high end game @ stock. It's a wolfdale architecture processor, a little less in spec compared the the 8 series, but it can handle it's own, and ocing is nice. I had an AMD x2 5600 clocked at 2.9ghz, and this thing stomps on that processor. If you don't oc, it idles anywhere from 24C to 36C. LOAD, never went past 44C, and thats with stock cooling!

Very nice, processor, for anyone even considering getting an AMD, save your money and consider getting this or any other Intel processors out there. This thing beats AMD's dual core, it's not even funny...And this is coming from a long time supporting AMD user
